The process concludes with All-American selections announced later in the month. The team is sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition. The team is voted on by the NCAA Division II members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (D2SIDA).
The Chargers concluded their 2013 season in the NCAA Division II East Region Championship. After losing its opening game, UNH pulled off back-to-back wins to advance to its second regional championship game in the last four years. New Haven then suffered a 9-5 loss to Adelphi in its third game of the day. The Chargers finished the season with a 38-15 record, it's best since 2010. It marked just the second time UNH has crossed the 35-win plateau since 1995.
