Celebrating Diversity and Racial Harmony
The University of New Haven, Lincoln University and the NAACP have partnered to present the 2010 Harmony Classic, an event which embraces the NCAA Division II Community Engagement mission to develop students and communities by actively engaging in shared experiences and the NAACP's mission to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.
Ticket Information
All tickets: $20
(Each ticket INCLUDES a one year youth NAACP membership)
Online: Harmony Classic ticket sales are now closed. The ticket booth will open on Saturday at 11:00 AM.

Students/Faculty/Staff: A limited number of free tickets are available on a first come first serve basis to University of New Haven students, faculty and staff. All UNH students, faculty and staff are required to pick up their free ticket prior to game day. Tickets will be available at Bartels from Tuesday, Sept. 7 – Friday, Sept. 10.
All lots dedicated to Harmony Classic parking will open at 8:00 am. The below parking lots are dedicated for Harmony Classic parking.

Handicapped Parking: Handicapped parking is available at the Athletic Complex Parking Lot (labeled P25 on campus map)
CLICK HERE FOR A CAMPUS MAP. A limited number of spaces are available in the Athletic Complex Parking Lot on a first come first serve basis. A shuttle service will be available from Parking Lot 9, the Wade Street Parking Lot and overflow lots to transport those with special needs as well. Spectators needing special assistance should call ahead to 203-932-7357 or 203-932-7016.
Bus Parking: Buses may drop off at the Athletic Complex and then they must park on the main campus.
NOTE: Parking is NOT allowed on the neighborhood streets surrounding the Athletic Complex. There is no charge for general parking.
Greek/Divine 9 Tailgating Information
Special tailgating activities and competitions are planned for the Harmony Classic. The Divine 9 Greek community, University of New Haven Greek community and the Lincoln University Greek community will also be participating. Should you choose to enter the competition, your tailgate can win a trophy for best
food, most
creativity and most
enthusiasm. Judging will occur prior to the game. Contact Kristen M. Clark, at

General Tailgating Information
Tailgating will be allowed in the parking area with the goal of providing football fans, parents, faculty, staff, alumni and students a total positive game-environment experience.
Reserved tailgating spaces, allowing for a small pop-up tent and grills, are available on a first come first serve basis by calling 203-932-7017. There is a $15 charge for reserved tailgate spaces which are located in the Athletic Complex Parking Lot (labeled P25 on campus map)

To ensure an enjoyable family friendly atmosphere, all tailgating participants must adhere to the following policies and procedures:
- Propane and charcoal grills are prohibited in the general parking area.
- Pop-up tents are prohibited in the general parking area.
- Fires built on the ground and open fire pit devices are prohibited in all areas.
- Kegs are NOT allowed.
- Pets are NOT allowed on University property.
- NO glass containers are allowed; plastic cups and cans are allowed (please recycle or dispose of properly).
- Dispose of all trash in trash receptacles located in tailgating areas or pack it out.
- Alcohol is not permitted outside of the tailgating area.
The University of New Haven is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for visitors, students, coaches, spectators and the community at large. The use or possession of alcoholic beverages and the sale, delivery or service to individuals under age 21 is prohibited by the University and Connecticut state law.
Health and Career Fair Information
The Connecticut State Conference of NAACP Branches and the University of New Haven Career Services will be holding a Health and Science Career Fair from 9:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M. (noon) at the Athletic Complex.

Vendor Fair Information
The Connecticut State Conference of NAACP Branches and the University of New Haven will be holding a vendor fair featuring corporate booths, food, art, t-shirts and much more. The vendor fair will being at 9 A.M. and run throughout the day at the Athletic Complex.

Kids Zone Information
An interactive Kids Zone will be open starting at 9:00 A.M. The Kids Zone will feature inflatables, face painting and family fun throughout the day at the Athletic Complex. Charlie the Charger mascot will be making its season debut appearance.
