Chargers to Host Play 4 Kay Cancer Event on Feb. 4
WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven Department of Athletics will be holding its annual breast cancer awareness day on Saturday, February 4 at Charger Gymnasium. The 2012 Play 4 Kay® event, previously known as the Pink Zone, will mark the sixth year that UNH has hosted the event which has grown in each of the previous years.

Women's Basketball
Cunningham scored a season-high 18 points against Adelphi University on Tuesday, January 31. She connected on 7-of-13 shots and 4-of-7 from three-point territory. The sophomore also grabbed five rebounds in the game.

Men's Track and Field
Downing performed well in two sprinting events at the BU Terrier Classic. The Meriden, Conn. native posted a 10th place finish in the 200-meter dash and a 15th place finish in the 60-meter dash. He recorded a time of 21.91 in the 200-meter and 7.02 in the 60-meter, both times qualify Downing for the New England Championships.
