WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven softball team held its annual Homerun Breakfast Thursday morning in the UNH Alumni Lounge. Nearly 100 UNH faculty, staff and fans attended the breakfast to support the team for its yearly fundraiser. 

Student-athletes and table hosts served the guests which ranged from professors to deans. After another tight race, the annual apron contest winner was crowned near the end of the morning. Associate Provost and Dean of Students Rebecca Johnson was named the 2010 winner.

The Charger Homerun Breakfast officially kicks off the 2010 season for the UNH softball team which opens its season on Saturday, March 13 against the University of Southern Indiana.
