SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Six University of New Haven student-athletes have been named to the 2010 Spring Northeast-10 Conference Academic All-Conference teams which were announced by the conference office.

Breanne Gleason and Chelsea Harold were named to the NE-10 Academic All-Conference team in softball, while Aubrey Duncan and Kristine Lambracht earned Academic All-Conference honors in women's lacrosse. Baseball shortstop Ryan Brockett led the men's selections, while track and field jumper Kyle Lambert rounded out the Chargers' six selections.

New Haven's 2010 Spring Academic All-Conference selections join seven other student-athletes who earned the honor in the winter and fall seasons. Lambert was also named to the 2010 Winter Academic All-Conference team for indoor track and field.

To be eligible for selection to the academic all-conference teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the team's competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution. The Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference teams are chosen by a vote of a committee of athletic administrators and Faculty Athletic Representatives (FAR).
