2013-2014 Season: Indoor Track: Competed in the 500-meter dash at the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Invitational with a time of 1:24.12… Placed fifth in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2014 Giegengack Invitational, crossing the tape in 9.29 seconds… Ran the 60-meter dash in 8.33 seconds at the Northeast-10 Indoor Track and Field Championships… Outdoor Track: Competed in the 100-meter hurdles at the 1^st Annual Mark Young Invitational, placing fourth with a time of 14.47 seconds… Won the 400-meter hurdle event at the Northeast-10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 1:04.13. 

2012-2013 Season: USTFCCCA All-East Region selection…Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team…Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Received the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award…Dean's List honoree….Indoor Track: At the Giegengack posted a time of 27.21 seconds in the 200m and a time of 13:20.84 in the 4,000m… Finished 11^th in the 500m with a time of 1:21.81… Finished eighth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:52.27 at the NEICAAA Indoor Track & Field Championship… Outdoor Track: Ran as part of the 4x100m relay team which posted a time of 46.13 seconds at the NCAA Championships, finishing eighth...Finished third in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.49 at the Yale Springtime Invitational…Finished third in the 100m Hurdles with a time of 14.53 seconds at the New England Championships.

2011-2012 Season: Winter Academic All-Conference Team…Northeast-10 Conference Spring Academic All-Conference Team…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Received the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award…Indoor Track: At the Giengengack Invitational posted an eighth place finish in the 60m hurdle with a time of 9.53 and an 11^th place finish in the 500m dash with a time of 1:21.99…At the Northeast-10 Championships finished sixth in the 500m dash with a season-best time of 1:20.24. Outdoor Track: Part of the team that collected a third place finish in the 4x100m relay with a time of 49.23 at the Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Championship…Also tallied a fourth place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:03.96 and a seventh place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.64…At the New England Championship posted a 13^th place finish in the 4x100m relay with a time of 49.23.

2010-2011 Season: USTFCCCA All-Region Team…NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll…Indoor Track: Captured a first place finish at the SCSU Alumni Invitational in the 33m dash, crossing the finish in 7.16…Recorded a time of 7.67 in the 55m dash at the NE-10 Championships taking eighth place…Also took 10th in the 200m dash at the NE-10 Championships. Outdoor Track: Registered a third place finish at the NE-10 Championships in the 400m hurdles, posting a time of 1:05.92…Took 14th at the New England Championships in the 400m hurdles, recording a time of 1:05.91.

High school: Played four years at West Haven High School…Named the ‘Rookie of the Year’ as a sophomore in 2007…Served as team captain in 2009…Also a member of the Indoor and Outdoor track and field teams for the Blue Devils…Holds four school records (55m hurdles, long jump, 300m hurdles and 100m hurdles).

Personal: Daughter of Irma and Luis Yanez…Four sisters, Brenda, Adriana, Diana and Cecilia…Majoring in Engineering at New Haven.
