Home of the Chargers softball team, the University of New Haven softball field is located on UNH's North Campus. The facility has played host to many important games over the 30-plus years of softball at UNH.The distance to straight center is 220 feet and 190 feet down the left and right field lines.

Most recently the field hosted the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Softball Championship and the 2010 NCAA Division II Softball Championship East Regional and Super Regional.
During the summer of 2010, the field underwent renovations to install a permanent fence, including a windscreen, in the outfield. Additionally plans are in place to build new concrete dugouts, redesigned bullpens and a press box.
NOTE - No pets or alcoholic beverages are allowed at the UNH Softball Field or any other facility on the University's North Campus.
